My story

01
Standing beside a painting in an art gallery Always a little curious.

I’ve taken the
scenic route.

I started as a dentist in Mumbai. These days, I build products in San Francisco. The thread between the two? Understanding people, asking why, and finding ways to make a difference.

Mumbai, India

One person at a time.

Dentistry made the impact of my work tangible. I could help the person in front of me. I started wondering how to reach more people.

Ann Arbor, Michigan

A whole new world.

I arrived at the University of Michigan to study health informatics, knowing next to nothing about software. I thought I was heading toward electronic health records. Instead, I discovered how software gets made—and how much I wanted to be part of it.

Startups → education

Following the questions.

Product analyst, UX researcher, product manager. Different roles, the same curiosity. Today, I lead integrations and enterprise relationships at McGraw Hill, helping education work at a much bigger scale.

Curious.
Bold.
Empathetic.

Three things I try to bring to everything I do.

Questions turned into little experiments.
Some are still taking shape.

Tuesday Friends

Friendship that fits into everyday life. The grocery-run, quick-walk, coffee-around-the-corner kind. I’m figuring out how to help more of it happen.

The question behind it

Growing up in India, there were always people around. I miss that everyday proximity. Friends to travel with are wonderful. So are friends close enough to do the ordinary things with. Tuesday Friends starts with that thought.

A work in progress
lippies

Finding the lip combo.

An experiment in finding the perfect lip combo. A little beauty, a little tinkering, and plenty still to figure out.

A few things about me

Usually curious about…

  • Why people do what they do.
  • What makes a trend catch on.
  • A really good fragrance.
  • Solving a Rubik’s cube.
  • What I can experiment with in the kitchen.

I’m also a reader, a runner, and a slightly competitive word-game player.
